I love stocking up on school supplies before school starts. Prices usually soar during the school year so the deals are to be made now. Here is what I picked up this week at Target with my coupons in hand (school supply wise).
Here's my purchase break down:

Paid $1.25
$1.00 (Sharpies)
-$1.00 (Target coupon)

$3.60 (4 Bic Mechanical Pencils)
-$2.00 (2 $1.00 off 2 Bic mfg coupon)

$5.00 (5 Post Its)
-$3.00 (5 $1.00 Mfg coupons)
-$1.00 (Target coupon purchase of $2 or more)*
Paid -$1.00
$2.69 (1 Post It tabs)
-$2.00 ($2.00 Post It Tab Mfg coupon)
-$.75 (Target coupon)
Paid -$0.06
Final total for all items = -$0.72
*when using Target coupons which require a purchase of a certain dollar amount, make sure you redeem these coupons prior to manufacturer coupons so that you can be sure to have that amount.
Usually, I do not make any money at Target because they will only give you the value of the item and not the coupon amount if it exceeds the item amount, but not this week. I made sure to purchase above the overage just in case this should happen. All of these coupons were found online at coupons.com, redplum.com, target.com, scotch and 3m websites. It really is hard to imagine that the store paid me for taking away all these items. I had more items on my shopping list to get, but unfortunately Target ran out. You know what that means....another trip to my favorite store after they stock up (I'm told tomorrow). It should be fun!
