Breaking their boards

A couple of weeks ago, E. and R. broke their first boards in Karate!  I'm so proud.

 

They first got a little pep talk.

Then it was time to get into position and kick.

 

And they did it!

 

They got to keep their boards as a keepsake.

 

I love this pic of E.  He was so proud at that moment walking back.

 

After they broke their boards, they received their yellow belts.

Way to go boys!

 

They worked so hard.

R. looks so adorable here getting congratulated.

 

It's time to wear the new belts.
