Happy Birthday A.!!!!!

A. turns 5 today!  I cannot believe how much he has grown.  Here's last year's birthday photo (haven't gotten to today's yet).

He'll be starting Kindergarten in the Fall and all my babies will be out of the house.  With life being so hectic, I decided to spend the day with just him.  We had a blast doing everything he wanted.

Happy Birthday my sweet boy.

The Big Oh 4!

My sweet little monkey turns 4 today. Happy Birthday my dearest A. We love you so much.

A. is my goof ball, he always makes me laugh. He's learned sarcasm at the age of 2 and converses as if he were a 10 year old. On a scale of 1 to 10, he ranks a 100+ on the cute factor and he knows it. He can make you smile no matter how upset you are. Even his crying is cute. I can say that and be unbiased because I have other kids that don't fit this category.

I simply can't believe that he is 4 today. He's no longer my little baby. He's a boy. That's what he claims to be. His present to me is that he shall have no more potty accidents. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he keeps this one. Its a biggie in my book. My present to him is to finish his club house and make him a Kirby cake. More on those items later.

For now, I just want to say how very blessed I am to have you in my life A. I couldn't imagine flipping pancakes for anyone else in the middle of the evening or my life without your "out of the blue" hugs and kisses. I can't imagine anyone else killing scary bugs for me. You certainly make my day whenever you say you love me. The best part is that I never have to say it first. Today you are four and you make me feel as if I am the world to you as you are definitely the world to me. To answer your question you ask me every day, "Yes, you will always be my little monkey...forever..." Happy Birthday my little A.

Birthday Wishes

I celebrated my birthday this weekend. I was born in the year of the dragon and this year is the year of the dragon. Hopefully that brings me a little luck. I told (actually demanded) everyone not buy me anything because there really isn't anything that I want. As long as all my babies are healthy, I'm pretty much content.

On my birthday, I was awaken with birthday hugs and kisses from all the boys and before the night was over, A. decided he would wish me a Happy Birthday personally. Here he is singing me the birthday song.

I giggle every time I hear him sing it. He allowed me to record him, only if I would stand at the bottom of the stairs (far away from him). I thought I'd share my little three year old since he is just too cute.

Oh Christmas Tree

I know, I've been absent from blogging lately. I've been consumed with making Christmas gifts, planning a birthday party, and going to things like this:

A. is ringing his bells as he sings the christmas tree song. I know, the outfits are crazy, but when its your kid, you just can't help but ooh and ahh at every movement they make. I still can't figure out how they get 3 year olds up on stage in front of hundreds of people, but A. didn't seem to mind. On the contrary, he was having the time of his life, singing up a storm and I was loving every minute of it.

Missing Home

So every evening this week, I'm coming home to this gorgeous room:

But I'd rather be coming home to these gorgeous little ones.

I rarely have any candid pictures of the kids and I because I am generally the photographer of the family. I am on business travel again this week so looking at these pictures are especially hard.

Mommy say "Cheese Please!"

Hugs for eva!

I so love my kiddos. Oh, I can't wait to come home and scoop them all up in my arms. I'm getting teary-eyed just thinking about it.
